Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception will be held on Wednesday 09. July from 19:00-20:00 in the Atrium and OMHP area. Feel free to walk around, grab a drink & a typical Dutch snack and meet all your colleagues.

EASP Football Game

Never change a winning formula. As during previous conferences, EASP organizes a football event.

Not just for men, but for women as well. Come on and put on your football shoes!

(Please note: artificial turf; you can use normal sneakers as well)

We leave as one group on Friday July 11th at 6.45 pm from Atrium at 18:45. A limited number of free public transport tickets will be available. AT the football location we ll provide free Surinamese snacks and you can buy drinks at the football club.

Farewell Dinner

This year’s farewell dinner will be held at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolski (Dam Square 9) on Saturday July 12th from 19:30 onwards. A limited number of tickets is still available at the conference office desk during the conference.

Amsterdam at your feet…

There almost unlimited things to do in Amsterdam. There is a lot to explore in Amsterdam, and although we do not want to stimulate your touristic inclinations too much, we want to give you some guidance.

All the touristic information can be found here and you can also buy (multi) day and entrance tickets.

In addition, many hotels can also give you information on museums, canal tours.

Below you find a number of attractions that are really worth visiting.

Want to everything about Dutch Cheese?

You can try Reypenaer Cheese during the EASP meeting, they are present with a stand. But you can also educate yourself and taste all kinds.

The Rijksmuseum with is unique collection of Rembrandts and Vermeers has been renovated and open to the public. Please be aware that you may have to wait in line until you get in. Coming early and not on the weekend is advisable.

The Van Gogh Museum is in the neighbourhood of the Rijksmuseum, and often sports equally long waiting lines. Coming early and not on the weekend is advisable.

The Stedelijk Museum has an excellent collection of modern art and changing exhibitions.

The Anne Frank House highly recommends buying your tickets in advance.

There are several different canal tour operators, some of them starting right in the vicinity of the conference location. Pick and choose one that you like.

You can also visit the Heineken Brewery and learn more on how they make their world famous beer. Please note that access is limited to 18+.
